Step into an impactful role supporting students’ success as a contract School Psychologist for the 26/27 school year near Redwood City, CA! This full-time opportunity is perfect for professionals with a passion for working in educational settings, providing essential mental health and assessment services to school communities. You’ll play a crucial role from August 12, 2026, through June 3, 2027, working 35 hours per week with a caseload to be determined.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification in California (or eligibility)
  • Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience working within K-12 school environments
  • Strong background conducting individual and group counseling for students
  • Proficiency administering comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop supportive relationships with students, staff, and families

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct counseling services to students, fostering emotional and academic growth
  • Assess and identify student needs through standardized testing and observational tools
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to design interventions and supports
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing insights and recommendations based on assessments
  • Maintain confidential student records and prepare accurate, timely reports
  • Serve as a resource to school staff on psychological and behavioral matters
  • Support the positive climate of the school community through advocacy and education
