Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist
  • Proven experience working in educational settings, preferably with K-12 students
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention techniques, and IEP processes
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment
  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for students referred for evaluation
  • Develop, recommend, and facilitate individualized intervention strategies
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary IEP meetings and provide expertise on student social-emotional well-being
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote positive learning environments
  • Deliver counseling and crisis intervention as needed
  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and comply with district and state guidelines
