Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
  • Solid understanding of special education processes, response-to-intervention (RTI), and individualized education program (IEP) development
  • Proficient with psychological assessments, behavioral interventions, and data-based decision making
  • Excellent communication and consultation skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Previous experience in a K-12 school setting is a strong advantage

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students referred for evaluation
  • Offer counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services to students and families as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to help develop, monitor, and implement IEPs and 504 plans
  • Provide insight on behavioral interventions and evidence-based strategies to promote academic and emotional growth
  • Assist teachers and staff in understanding student needs and supporting classroom management
  • Participate in student support teams and contribute to school-wide initiatives for a safe, inclusive environment
