Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist
  • Experience conducting both initial evaluations and file reviews (anticipate about 75 reports during the assignment)
  • Prior experience or strong interest in working with culturally diverse student populations, especially Native American communities
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with school staff, educators, and families
  • Strong understanding of K-12 educational settings and special education procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough initial student evaluations and comprehensive file reviews as required
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement student support strategies
  • Prepare detailed assessment reports and participate in IEP meetings
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for students’ social, emotional, and academic well-being
  • Support students and staff by providing guidance, crisis intervention, and consultative services
  • Promote a culturally responsive and inclusive school environment
