Key Qualifications:
- Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting both initial evaluations and file reviews (anticipate about 75 reports during the assignment)
- Prior experience or strong interest in working with culturally diverse student populations, especially Native American communities
- Ability to effectively collaborate with school staff, educators, and families
- Strong understanding of K-12 educational settings and special education procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough initial student evaluations and comprehensive file reviews as required
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement student support strategies
- Prepare detailed assessment reports and participate in IEP meetings
- Serve as a resource and advocate for students’ social, emotional, and academic well-being
- Support students and staff by providing guidance, crisis intervention, and consultative services
- Promote a culturally responsive and inclusive school environment
