Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a current license or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and evaluations
- Skilled at interpreting data for programming and interventions
- Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) or response to intervention (RTI) processes
- Understanding of special education procedures and compliance
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
- Ability to provide individual and group counseling to students
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and create meaningful reports to guide student supports
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement academic and behavioral interventions
- Assist in the identification of students requiring special education services
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and eligibility determinations
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Offer consultation and training to staff and families on best practices in mental health and academic support
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
