Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold a current license or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience conducting psychological assessments and evaluations
  • Skilled at interpreting data for programming and interventions
  • Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) or response to intervention (RTI) processes
  • Understanding of special education procedures and compliance
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
  • Ability to provide individual and group counseling to students

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and create meaningful reports to guide student supports
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement academic and behavioral interventions
  • Assist in the identification of students requiring special education services
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and eligibility determinations
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
  • Offer consultation and training to staff and families on best practices in mental health and academic support
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
