Openings are currently available for experienced and credentialed School Psychologists in the Houston area, with opportunities in both South and Central Houston. This full-time, on-site contract position provides a vital chance to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families, creating positive change where it matters most.

What makes you a great fit:

  • Hold an active Texas School Psychologist (LSSP) credential or licensure (documentation required upon application)
  • Previous school-based experience in a psychologist role, preferably with diverse student populations
  • Available to complete a full-time (37.5 hours per week) schedule on-site throughout the academic year
  • Possess reliable transportation to assigned campus locations
  • Willing and able to complete district fingerprinting within three days of contract signing
  • Ready to begin July 30, 2026, through May 28, 2027
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle confidential student information and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive student assessments for special education eligibility and psychological services
  • Providing direct and indirect interventions for students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Participating in ARD/IEP meetings and contributing to written evaluation reports
  • Consulting with teachers, families, and support staff to develop effective intervention strategies
  • Supporting crisis response efforts and implementing prevention programs as needed
