This full-time opportunity (37.5 hours/week) begins as soon as possible and extends through May 2027, allowing you to make a meaningful difference throughout the school year. Successful candidates will bring an active Texas School Psychologist license and have prior school-based experience, making them well-equipped to handle on-site roles (hybrid report writing from home may be considered for select tasks). What we’re looking for:

  • Current, active Texas School Psychologist licensure (documentation required)
  • Verified school-based experience
  • Availability for a full-time (37.5 hours/week) schedule
  • Willingness to work on-site, with potential hybrid reporting duties from home
  • Reliable transportation
  • Detail-oriented approach to paperwork and documentation
  • Ability to promptly complete HISD fingerprinting requirements within three days of contract signing

Professional responsibilities include:

  • Conducting psychoeducational evaluations and comprehensive assessments
  • Supporting students through individualized interventions and counseling
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and behavior plans
  • Engaging families and staff in consultation and training
  • Maintaining detailed documentation and timely reporting
