In this role, you’ll be instrumental in conducting assessments, developing intervention strategies, and contributing to student success. As an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team, you’ll work closely with educators, families, and administrators to identify strengths, address challenges, and promote positive outcomes.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments and interpretation
- Strong understanding of special education processes and IEP development
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Previous work in K-12 schools preferred, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and score assessments to determine areas of need for students
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and staff regarding effective interventions
- Develop and monitor individualized student plans
- Advocate for students’ academic, social, and emotional well-being
- Maintain accurate clinical records and timely documentation in compliance with school guidelines
