School Psychologist - Richmond, TX

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity working with students as a School Psychologist in a progressive K-12 educational environment near Richmond, TX. This role offers a unique blend of onsite support and flexible remote options, with the primary base at a central office and services provided across two to three schools. You'll collaborate within a skilled multidisciplinary team and be part of a district that leverages a workload model for a balanced, sustainable approach to student care.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist licensure in the state of Texas
• Demonstrated experience supporting children or adolescents in school settings
• Proficient in conducting comprehensive assessments and delivering evidence-based interventions
• Strong communication and organizational skills to work across multiple sites
• Experience collaborating with educators, parents, and support teams
• Comfortable with a workload model and adapting to program or district priorities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive psychoeducational assessments, behavioral interventions, and consultation
• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and provide recommendations for student success
• Support teachers and staff through training, consultation, and strategies for diverse learning needs
• Document and interpret evaluation results, maintaining accurate student records
• Participate in multidisciplinary and eligibility team meetings as required
• Enjoy a guaranteed one remote-work day per week, with potential for additional flexibility based on performance and district needs

This contract runs through the end of the school year, with full-time hours (37.5 per week) and the possibility of continuing or extending assignments within the district. With LPCs on staff, counseling responsibilities are not required, allowing you to focus on assessments, eligibility, and student advocacy.
