Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Washington State School Psychologist certification is required
- Professional experience in school settings serving students with a range of disabilities
- Strong skills in administering and interpreting educational and psychological assessments
- Comfort working with elementary and middle school-age children
- Collaborative and effective communicator, able to work well with educators, families, and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual evaluations to identify and support students’ learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Develop intervention strategies in partnership with teachers and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation and revision of educational plans
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling as necessary
- Maintain detailed and confidential records in accordance with state and school guidelines
