Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Washington State School Psychologist certification is required
• Professional experience in school settings serving students with a range of disabilities
• Strong skills in administering and interpreting educational and psychological assessments
• Comfort working with elementary and middle school-age children
• Collaborative and effective communicator, able to work well with educators, families, and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual evaluations to identify and support students’ learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Develop intervention strategies in partnership with teachers and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation and revision of educational plans
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling as necessary
• Maintain detailed and confidential records in accordance with state and school guidelines
