Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong skills in counseling, assessments, and development of IEPs/504 plans
- Solid understanding of educational law and ethical practices
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work onsite and adapt to the diverse needs of school communities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results for students across all grade levels
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) and 504 plans
- Provide counseling and intervention strategies for students, including crisis management and behavioral support as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success and provide consultation on academic and behavioral concerns
- Support multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and positive behavioral intervention initiatives
