School Psychologist - Ridgewood, New Jersey

As an itinerant school psychologist, you will focus on both conducting thorough evaluations and participating as a core team member at IEP meetings. To succeed in this position, qualified candidates should bring:

• Current New Jersey School Psychologist Certification
• Previous experience, or strong interest, in working with elementary school-age children
• Familiarity with conducting psychological and academic evaluations
• An understanding of special education laws and best practices
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively on multidisciplinary teams

Key responsibilities include:

• Administering and interpreting a variety of psychological assessments
• Participating in IEP meetings to help design individualized educational and behavioral plans
• Consulting with teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure coordinated support
• Providing recommendations, interventions, and progress monitoring as part of student services
• Traveling between school sites as needed within the district

The compensation for this position ranges between $55/hr and $62/hr.
