With a full-time schedule for the 2023-2024 academic year, your expertise will empower students in grades K-5 and support educational teams through comprehensive evaluation, intervention, and collaborative practices.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current California School Psychologist certification and a valid PPS credential
- Master’s degree in School Psychology is required
- Experience in conducting assessments and evaluations (such as WISC, WJ, RIOS)
- Ability to create and implement IEPs and behavior plans
- Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams and parents
- Comfortable working on-site across itinerant locations within the district
- Open to recent graduates and licensed professionals from other states
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations in elementary (K-5th grade) settings
- Observe student behaviors and monitor progress for tailored interventions
- Develop and help implement individual education and behavioral plans (IEPs/BIPs)
- Provide expert consultation to teachers, staff, and families to enhance student outcomes
- Support students’ social, emotional, and academic growth through evidence-based practices
- Travel between designated district schools as needed (itinerant assignment)
