Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or closely related field
- Experience conducting psycho-educational assessments and developing IEPs
- Strong knowledge of behavioral and academic interventions for diverse learners
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with students, educators, and families
- Ability to work independently while following school guidelines and protocols
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret psychological and educational assessments for students referred for evaluation
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized education plans and behavioral interventions
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention for students as needed
- Support the development of safe, positive, and inclusive learning environments
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
