Step into a pivotal role providing essential support within a dynamic school community for the 2026–2027 academic year. This full-time contract opportunity offers a rewarding environment where your expertise as a School Psychologist will help shape educational success for students across a range of grade levels. From July 27, 2026, through May 26, 2027, you’ll be closely collaborating with a dedicated team, primarily focused on primary and elementary students but contributing across pre-K through 12th grade.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active School Psychologist certification (or eligibility for state credentialing)
- Proven experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and participating in IEP processes
- Strong understanding of childhood developmental stages and behavioral interventions
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other education professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Support district psychologists in managing caseloads and assessments
- Administer a variety of psychological and educational evaluations, with an emphasis on primary and elementary students
- Consult with educators and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement effective interventions
- Provide guidance on behavior management and crisis intervention when needed
- Collaborate regularly with staff to foster positive learning environments
