This full-time role, starting on July 27, 2026, and running through May 26, 2027, centers on supporting school psychologists across a diverse district setting. Expect to work closely with colleagues to provide comprehensive assessments and intervention services to students from pre-K through 12th grade, focusing primarily on testing with primary and elementary-aged children.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure in School Psychology
- Proven experience working with pre-K through 12th-grade student populations
- Strong assessment, report writing, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other psychologists, educators, and families
- Experience with special education procedures, eligibility, and documentation preferred
- Commitment to culturally responsive and data-driven practices
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations for students, emphasizing primary and elementary-level assessments
- Partner with fellow psychologists to address the varied needs within the district
- Participate in IEP meetings, staffing, and multidisciplinary teams
- Collaborate in developing intervention strategies and support plans based on evaluation outcomes
- Maintain detailed, compliant records and ensure accurate documentation
- Provide consultation and support to educators, families, and students as needed
