School Psychologist in Rochester, NH

A dynamic school district is seeking a dedicated, full-time School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification/license as a School Psychologist
• Previous school-based experience (K-12 preferred, but all backgrounds considered)
• Strong understanding of special education processes, including evaluations and IEPs
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Flexible and willing to tailor services to different grade levels as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, initial assessments, re-evaluations, and contribute expert insights to the IEP process
• Collaborate with fellow school psychologists, teachers, administrators, and families to develop comprehensive support strategies
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support as needed
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to creating a positive, inclusive school environment
• Maintain detailed and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
• Advocate for students’ academic and emotional well-being district-wide
