In this impactful role, you’ll provide expertise to help students thrive both academically and personally while working alongside dedicated educators and staff.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current New York State Certification as a School Psychologist
  • Master’s Degree in Psychology required
  • Proven skill in conducting psychological assessments and testing
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic examinations
  • Experience delivering therapy and counseling to adolescents
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration abilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including standardized testing
  • Administer diagnostic examinations for students across grades 6-12
  • Provide individual and group therapy to support emotional and behavioral well-being
  • Participate and contribute expert insight during PPT (Planning and Placement Team) meetings
  • Collaborate closely with school staff, families, and related service providers to create individualized education plans
  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation on evaluations and interventions
  • Support crisis response and provide consultative services as needed

This position begins August 26, with the first day of school on September 2, and runs through June 24. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine impact in the lives of students during a formative time in their academic journeys.
