Exciting opportunity for a School Psychologist skilled in supporting middle and high school students. This full-time contract position begins August 2026 and offers the chance to make an impact within a vibrant educational environment. Working on a traditional school schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, you will collaborate closely with students, educators, and families, focusing on delivering high-quality psychological services.

You’ll manage a caseload centered around initial evaluations and re-evaluations, helping to ensure each student’s needs are accurately assessed and supported. Your expertise will guide educational interventions and help foster a positive, productive learning atmosphere. A laptop is provided to help streamline your work and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Illinois Professional Educator License endorsed for School Psychology (required)
  • Proven experience or training in school-based psychological assessment and intervention
  • Comfortable engaging with diverse adolescent populations in middle and high school settings
  • Strong organizing, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with evaluation case management a plus
  • Willingness to work fully onsite; remote or hybrid is not available for this role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations and re-evaluations for students
  • Collaborate with staff and families to determine and deliver appropriate interventions
  • Maintain accurate, thorough records and assessment reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations
  • Support positive behavioral and academic outcomes through evidence-based strategies
