School Psychologist - Rocklin, California

Make a positive impact on elementary students by supporting their academic, emotional, and social growth in a dynamic school environment. As a contract school psychologist, you'll collaborate with a dedicated team to provide both assessment and counseling services for students in transitional kindergarten through fifth grade. This role involves working closely with various TK and Kindergarten Special Day Classrooms (SDC), learning support environments, and moderate SDC settings.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active California PPS (Pupil Personnel Services) Credential in School Psychology
• Experience working with elementary (TK-5) age students
• Familiarity with a range of classroom settings, including SDC and learning support
• Strong skills in conducting psychoeducational assessments, interpreting data, and writing clear reports
• Ability to develop and implement intervention strategies and behavior plans
• Collaborative mindset to consult with teachers, families, and related service providers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer standardized testing and assessments for academic, cognitive, and social-emotional needs
• Contribute to and attend IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations for student support
• Offer individual and group counseling to students as needed
• Develop intervention and crisis management strategies tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborate with school staff to support student progress and monitor interventions
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation
