What we value:

  • Current California credential in School Psychology
  • Experience or strong interest in working with TK-5th grade students
  • Ability to effectively assess, counsel, and support students in both general education and special education settings
  • Familiarity with SDC classrooms, especially TK/K and moderate support needs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for building positive relationships with students, families, and staff
  • Strength in preparing evaluation reports, participating in IEP meetings, and contributing to data-driven educational planning

Key responsibilities and experiences include:

  • Conducting psychological assessments and interpreting results for eligibility, programming, and intervention purposes
  • Providing direct and consultative support to students with learning and behavioral challenges
  • Participating actively in multidisciplinary teams, including IEP and intervention meetings
  • Collaborating with classroom educators, special education teams, and related service providers
  • Supporting the emotional, behavioral, and academic growth of students in SDC and learning support environments
  • Maintaining thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and district guidelines
