Take your expertise as a School Psychologist to the next level in a dynamic, contract-based role spanning the 2026-2027 school year. This engaging opportunity offers full-time hours across various campuses in the area, supporting PreK-12 students through a comprehensive, onsite-only position.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and active NCDPI School Psychologist License required (please attach upon application).
  • Strong working knowledge of ECATS is essential.
  • Previous experience collaborating on multi-disciplinary teams in educational settings.
  • Solid background providing crisis response, consultation, and counseling for school-aged children.
  • Skilled in psychoeducational evaluations and special education compliance.
  • Effective communication skills for engaging with families, staff, and community stakeholders.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments for students suspected of having disabilities.
  • Provide direct counseling and mental health support to children and adolescents.
  • Lead and participate in crisis response and intervention efforts as needed.
  • Facilitate staff training on mental health topics and intervention strategies.
  • Attend and contribute to multi-disciplinary district-level team meetings.
  • Organize and participate in parent conferences to create collaborative support strategies.
  • Fulfill other tasks as assigned by district supervisors.
