Qualifications:

  • Licensed or certified School Psychologist (or eligibility for state licensure)
  • Experience working with elementary students (1st-5th grades)
  • Strong understanding of special education services (SPED 26/27)
  • Ability to conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and provide individual or group counseling
  • Familiarity with academic and behavioral interventions
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Collaborative approach with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
  • Support development and implementation of IEPs for special education students
  • Consult with teachers and staff to design effective interventions
  • Provide counseling and crisis management as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and student progress reviews
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to families and staff
