Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting is preferred
- Strong skills in psychoeducational assessments and report writing
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Familiarity with developing and implementing intervention strategies
- Capacity to thrive both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Expected Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including assessments for learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Prepare clear, concise, and thorough psychological reports
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other team members to develop appropriate interventions and supports
- Participate in eligibility and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed
- Provide consultation and recommendations to school staff for student success
- Occasionally travel to assigned school sites within the district
