This contract assignment, located near Roseville, CA, seeks a School Psychologist to cover a maternity leave through October 16, 2026, for the new school year. As an advocate for children’s well-being and success, you will play a pivotal role in assessing and supporting preschool-aged students during this important developmental period.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure appropriate for California
  • Proven experience in administering psychological, academic, and behavioral assessments for preschool-aged children
  • Strong knowledge of child development, early intervention strategies, and federal/state special education regulations
  • Collaborative mindset with experience contributing to multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, educators, and other professionals
  • Familiarity with Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and participation
  • Previous work with preschool-aged children in an educational or clinical setting strongly preferred

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for preschool students
  • Collaborate with teachers, speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, and administrators to support students’ needs
  • Participate in team meetings to interpret results, draft reports, and support eligibility determinations
  • Consult with families and educational staff, providing strategies and resources to help meet students’ emotional and academic needs
  • Contribute to the development and updating of IEPs for eligible students
  • Promote safe and supportive learning environments
