Make a meaningful impact supporting young learners as a contracted school psychologist for the upcoming academic term. Working with students in transitional kindergarten through 5th grade, you’ll engage with a range of educational environments— including TK/K special day classrooms, learning support settings, and moderate SDC classrooms.

Your expertise will play a vital role in fostering positive outcomes for students, collaborating closely with educators and families to address diverse learning and behavioral needs.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current licensure/certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Previous experience working with elementary-aged children, especially in school settings.
  • Familiarity with assessment tools, intervention strategies, and IEP processes.
  • Ability to work with students with varying abilities, including those in SDC and learning support classrooms.
  • Strong skills in communication, collaboration, and report writing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students in TK-5.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective interventions.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on goals, accommodations, and supports.
  • Support students’ academic, social, and behavioral development in both individual and group formats.
  • Assist in developing a positive and inclusive school climate by offering expertise in best practices for behavioral and emotional support.

This contract position offers a competitive pay rate of $55-$65 per hour, providing the flexibility to apply your skills in a rewarding school-based setting while working with learners across a broad spectrum of needs.
