Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist in California
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
  • Experience with assessments, counseling, consultation, and intervention in K-12 settings
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes, Response to Intervention (RTI), and special education laws
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations for students referred for special education services and interventions
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement IEPs and behavioral intervention plans
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, social, and emotional needs
  • Consult with school staff and families regarding student performance, classroom strategies, and inclusive practices
  • Support crisis intervention efforts and help create a positive school climate
  • Maintain accurate documentation compliant with all state and federal guidelines
