Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid school psychologist certification or license is required
- Previous experience working with students in PreK–8th grades is highly valued
- Strong skills in assessment, counseling, consultation, and behavioral intervention
- Familiarity with special education laws, IEP development, and RTI/MTSS frameworks
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Reliable, dependable, and committed to in-person, on-site service with no hybrid or remote options
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct student evaluations using appropriate assessment tools and techniques
- Contribute to special education eligibility determinations, behavioral plans, and IEP meetings
- Provide individual and group counseling to support student success and well-being
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to address academic and behavioral needs
- Assist with crisis intervention, prevention programs, and school-wide mental health initiatives
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to ethical and legal guidelines
