Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist license or certification required
- Proven experience working with elementary-aged students, PreK-8th grade
- Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills for school settings
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Adaptable to varying schedules based on different school start and end times
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and support plans
- Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams to create and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative psychological services to students and staff
- Support crisis intervention efforts and promote a positive, inclusive school climate
- Maintain thorough documentation and complete reports in a timely manner
- Serve as a reliable resource for staff and family consultations throughout the school year
Details:
- Contract school psychologist position—no hybrid or remote options; on-site presence required
- Assignments with students across PreK through 8th grade classrooms
- School days’ start and end times vary (e.g., Intermediate 8:20–3:55; Middle 7:40–3:15), with a consistent 37.5-hour work week, aligning with the academic calendar
- Position begins August 19, 2026, and concludes June 2, 2027
