Step into a pivotal role supporting the academic and emotional growth of elementary students from PreK through 8th grade. A contract opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist beginning August 19, 2026, extending through June 2, 2027. This in-person-only position offers diversity in your schedule, with start and end times varying by school—for example, Intermediate schools run 8:20-3:55, while Middle schools operate between 7:40-3:15. You will enjoy the opportunity to positively impact young learners while working a consistent weekly schedule aligned with the school calendar (typically 37.5 hours per week).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Holds current School Psychologist certification/license.
  • Demonstrates experience or strong interest working with elementary-aged children (PreK-8th grade).
  • Comfortable adapting to varying daily school schedules.
  • Excellent communication and rapport-building skills with students, teachers, and families.
  • Knowledge of assessment tools, MTSS, and evidence-based intervention strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop effective support strategies.
  • Interpret data and provide recommendations for individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support as needed.
  • Facilitate meetings with parents/guardians and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Participate actively in student progress monitoring and school-wide initiatives.
