Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist license or certification required
  • Proven experience working with elementary-aged students, PreK-8th grade
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills for school settings
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Adaptable to varying schedules based on different school start and end times
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and support plans
  • Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams to create and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct and consultative psychological services to students and staff
  • Support crisis intervention efforts and promote a positive, inclusive school climate
  • Maintain thorough documentation and complete reports in a timely manner
  • Serve as a reliable resource for staff and family consultations throughout the school year

Details:

  • Contract school psychologist position—no hybrid or remote options; on-site presence required
  • Assignments with students across PreK through 8th grade classrooms
  • School days’ start and end times vary (e.g., Intermediate 8:20–3:55; Middle 7:40–3:15), with a consistent 37.5-hour work week, aligning with the academic calendar
  • Position begins August 19, 2026, and concludes June 2, 2027
