Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current certification and licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience in completing comprehensive special education evaluations
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and facilitation
  • Ability to support and collaborate with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Dedication to culturally responsive and student-centered practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct special education evaluations and provide clear, comprehensive reports
  • Serve as a key facilitator for IEP meetings, ensuring compliance and advocating for best student outcomes
  • Offer consultative and direct support to the MTSS team to address academic, social, and behavioral needs
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute psychological insights
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with school staff, students, and parents
