A dynamic school district is seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional for a full-time, in-person contract opportunity as a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in educational psychology or related field
- Completion of at least one year of internship under a credentialed school psychologist
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
- Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive practices
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to support student learning and behavioral needs
- Deliver direct counseling services, crisis intervention, and consult with teachers and families
- Actively participate in IEP meetings, developing recommendations and individualized plans
- Provide expertise in data interpretation to promote positive academic and social outcomes
- Design and implement prevention and intervention programs at the student, classroom, and school-wide levels
- Assist with district-wide initiatives to foster safe, healthy, and supportive school climates
