Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Certification to practice in school settings
  • Experience working with students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels preferred
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
  • Ability to develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify students’ needs
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral health
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create effective plans for student development and learning
  • Contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Consult with faculty and staff to promote positive behavior and mental health practices schoolwide
  • Maintain comprehensive records and ensure all documentation complies with district and state regulations
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies
