Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting IEPs, evaluations, and comprehensive assessments within school settings
  • Strong knowledge of current psychological practices, special education law, and intervention strategies
  • Exceptional communication and consultation skills with students, parents, and staff
  • Ability to work independently across various school locations in the district
  • Passion for supporting diverse student populations and advocating for student needs

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete psychoeducational evaluations and assessments in accordance with district protocols and state regulations
  • Lead and contribute actively to IEP meetings, assisting in designing and monitoring individualized plans
  • Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and consultative services to students and school teams as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective strategies for academic and social-emotional support
  • Maintain detailed, confidential records and manage required documentation for compliance
  • Serve as a valuable district-wide resource, providing expertise and guidance to promote positive student outcomes
