Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist credential
- Prior experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
- Skilled in conducting psychoeducational assessments, writing comprehensive reports, and participating in IEP meetings
- Strong understanding of early childhood development, evaluation tools, and eligibility criteria for special education services
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to adapt and thrive in an educational team setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments for preschool students to determine strengths, needs, and eligibility for services
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to develop individualized plans that support successful learning outcomes
- Provide guidance and recommendations based on assessment results to help shape effective interventions and supports
- Participate in IEP conferences, delivering insights and working toward consensus on student goals and accommodations
- Maintain confidential and accurate documentation, upholding compliance standards and timelines
