Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist credential
  • Prior experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
  • Skilled in conducting psychoeducational assessments, writing comprehensive reports, and participating in IEP meetings
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development, evaluation tools, and eligibility criteria for special education services
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in an educational team setting

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments for preschool students to determine strengths, needs, and eligibility for services
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to develop individualized plans that support successful learning outcomes
  • Provide guidance and recommendations based on assessment results to help shape effective interventions and supports
  • Participate in IEP conferences, delivering insights and working toward consensus on student goals and accommodations
  • Maintain confidential and accurate documentation, upholding compliance standards and timelines
