School Psychologist - Sacramento, California

Make a real difference in the lives of elementary-aged students as a contract school psychologist serving grade levels TK-5. You’ll work in a supportive educational environment near Sacramento, collaborating with dedicated educators across a variety of settings, including TK and Kindergarten Special Day Classrooms (SDC), learning support classrooms, and moderate SDC environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in School Psychology
• Experience supporting elementary-age students, especially those in TK-5
• Familiarity with SDC and learning support classroom settings
• Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for TK-5 students
• Develop recommendations tailored to individual learning and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement IEPs
• Provide crisis intervention, individual counseling, and group support as appropriate
• Participate in staff meetings, parent conferences, and relevant trainings
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with local and state regulations

Expect to earn $55-$65 per hour for your specialized skills and commitment, working within a contract arrangement.
