Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist credential in California
  • Experience working with elementary age groups (TK-5)
  • Familiarity with SDC environments and learning support classrooms
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and collaboration
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Flexibility and cultural competence when working with diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify students’ strengths and areas for growth
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
  • Provide recommendations for interventions and supports within SDC and learning support classrooms
  • Offer individual and small group counseling to address emotional and behavioral needs
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to support student success across academic and social domains
  • Maintain thorough, organized documentation in compliance with regulations and school policies

This position offers competitive hourly compensation between $55 and $65, depending on experience and credentials.
