Qualifications:

• Valid state license/certification as a School Psychologist
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Experience working within a school setting preferred
• Ability to conduct psychological assessments, interpret test results, and provide recommendations
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Familiarity with IEP processes and knowledge of relevant laws/policies

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations to identify students’ cognitive, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop effective interventions
• Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Offer crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
• Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to interventions as appropriate
• Provide consultation and training to teachers and staff regarding student mental health and behavioral strategies
• Maintain accurate and confidential records according to school and legal requirements
