Step into an impactful role supporting high school students’ social, emotional, and academic development. This contract opportunity runs from August 10, 2026, through May 14, 2027, with daily hours from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The position is dedicated to serving a manageable caseload of approximately 30 high school students. Your expertise will directly contribute to a positive school experience and lasting outcomes for students in need.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Must possess active School Psychologist licensure valid for the state of Illinois
  • Previous experience working with high school populations preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of student assessment, IEP processes, and response-to-intervention strategies
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and school teams
  • Must be available to work onsite throughout the duration of the contract

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, assessments, and observations tailored to individual student needs
  • Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs in coordination with educators, parents, and support staff
  • Deliver direct counseling and intervention services to students as required
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to promote a supportive learning environment
  • Serve as an advocate for student well-being, helping to create actionable strategies for both academic and behavioral growth
