Exciting opportunity for a skilled School Psychologist to make a significant impact in a high school environment near Saint Charles, IL! This contract role spans the academic year, running from August 10, 2026, through May 14, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 7:30AM to 3:00PM. The position focuses on supporting approximately 30 high school students, working collaboratively to promote mental and academic wellness.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois School Psychologist license required
  • Previous experience in high school educational settings preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Must be willing and able to work onsite throughout the assignment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning and emotional health
  • Provide crisis intervention and conflict resolution strategies as needed
  • Maintain timely documentation and records compliance with district and state standards
  • Foster an inclusive, positive school atmosphere where all students feel heard and supported
