Make a significant difference in students’ lives as a School Psychologist working on a contract assignment for the 2026-2027 school year. This rewarding, on-site opportunity is located in dynamic school environments, with placements likely in either the Hazelwood or Bayless Districts. You’ll collaborate with education professionals and administration, providing essential psychological services focused on Child Find, including assessments, evaluations, and comprehensive reporting.

You can anticipate a balanced, manageable workload—caseloads average 30-40 students—and may work with students ranging from elementary through high school or across K-12, depending on your assigned site. Up to two school placements will be determined according to district need. As a valued contractor, you’ll benefit from director-level support designed to ensure a positive, sustainable experience in the district.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Missouri Department of Education (DOE) School Psychologist certification
  • Experience performing student psychological assessments, evaluations, and eligibility reports
  • Familiarity with Child Find regulations and compliance
  • Ability to adapt to different educational environments (elementary, high school, or K-12)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Successful completion of required drug screening and fingerprinting prior to start

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and psychoeducational assessments and evaluations for referred students
  • Generate written reports to support eligibility decisions and educational planning
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to interpret findings and recommend interventions
  • Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal procedures
  • Participate in meetings as needed to support student success

This contract assignment is scheduled for 8/24/26–5/28/27, offering a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Interviews are prescreened for suitability, with flexibility to accommodate your schedule.
