This position is a contract opportunity primarily serving two sites in the greater Saint Charles region, with a likely placement in Florissant. Your expertise will be essential in delivering comprehensive support as you become a valued member of an educational team dedicated to student well-being.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Missouri Department of Education certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting special education and Child Find evaluations for K-12 populations
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload, with approximately 8-10 ongoing assessment cases at any time
- Expertise in collaborating with educators, families, and students in school settings
- Willingness to complete all district credentialing, including background checks and fingerprinting (TCN submission required), as well as technology compliance
- Flexibility to work full-time or part-time, or for a short-term period if preferred
Your Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for special education referrals and Child Find
- Work closely with teachers, counselors, and other support staff to interpret assessment data and inform IEPs
- Provide recommendations to support student learning and emotional development
- Consult with families, collaborating to promote student success through effective interventions
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation to fulfill district requirements
