Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification/license as a School Psychologist
• Experience or confidence serving students in Grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
• Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and developing interventions
• Familiarity with IEP processes and collaborating with special education teams
• Excellent communication skills to consult with educators, families, and administrators
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to various school settings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students referred for assessment
• Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Facilitate crisis intervention and support for students as needed
• Provide short-term counseling to students struggling with behavioral, emotional, or learning challenges
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement classroom-based strategies
• Serve as a resource for parents and guardians, offering strategies that promote student success both in and out of the classroom
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and recommend supports
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with school and district policies
