This role offers the chance to work directly with students, educators, and families to assess, diagnose, and develop interventions that promote social, emotional, and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students' learning and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services when necessary
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expert guidance
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding student services
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and implementing interventions in school settings
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
