Step into a contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, making a difference for students from elementary through middle school for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position involves supporting both Willow Lane Elementary and Central Middle, working with a diverse caseload of approximately 25-35 K-5th grade students and 20-30 students in grades 6-8.

You’ll dedicate 37.5 hours each week to developing and supporting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), providing counseling, and using behavioral interventions. This critical role leverages your expertise to bolster student success within a vibrant and collaborative educational environment.

Qualifications:

  • Active Minnesota School Psychologist licensure required
  • Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Skilled in developing, coordinating, and supporting IEPs
  • Comfortable providing individual and group counseling
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a balanced caseload across assigned elementary and middle school students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Offer counseling sessions and create behavior intervention plans tailored to student needs
  • Consult and collaborate regularly with teachers, staff, and parents/guardians
  • Support crisis intervention initiatives and comprehensive safety planning
  • Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings
