Your essential qualifications include:
- Education Specialist or Doctoral degree in School Psychology (or equivalent)
- Active Minnesota school psychologist license issued by PELSB
- Dedication to equity, culturally responsive strategies, and inclusive service delivery
- Solid grounding in evidence-based practices, covering assessment, intervention, and mental health supports
Ideal candidates will also have:
- National School Psychologist Certification (NCSP) or be NCSP-eligible
- Experience with MTSS frameworks, providing consultation and intervention support
- Leadership skills to guide and influence adult learners
- Proficiency in crisis prevention, intervention, and postvention
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state special education laws and compliance
- Familiarity with multicultural, urban educational environments
- Strong skills in relationship-building, communication, and collaboration with various stakeholders
As a vital member of the team, you’ll be responsible for comprehensive K-12 psychological services. This includes assessment, consultation, participation in multidisciplinary teams, and helping to develop equitable and proactive student support systems.
