School Psychologist - Saint Paul, MN

This contract opportunity runs from late August through mid-December and is tailored for a dedicated School Psychologist who thrives on collaboration and proactive interventions. You’ll have the chance to make a tangible difference, covering two maternity leaves and working both onsite and virtually as needed.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Minnesota School Psychologist certification or licensure, required
• Strong background developing IEP goals and Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP) utilizing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA)
• Comprehensive understanding of state and federal guidelines related to special education, IEP compliance, and student evaluation
• Ability to interpret assessment data, provide meaningful recommendations, and communicate effectively with educators and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver psychological services, including conducting student evaluations, creating and monitoring PBSPs, and consulting with multidisciplinary teams
• Participate closely in IEP meetings, offering insights and best practices to support individualized student needs
• Use Functional Behavior Assessment methods to design and maintain positive, constructive behavioral supports
• Consult with staff, families, and administrators to design interventions and facilitate communication that enhances student development
• Ensure full compliance with all relevant educational regulations, policies, and statutes

This is an engaging, full-time, 40-hour-per-week contract assignment working with a supportive staff focused on student achievement and growth. Adaptability in both onsite and virtual environments will be essential.
