We are seeking three dedicated professionals to fill immediate full-time openings, with roles ranging from full-year assignments to temporary coverage for leaves of absence. Your work will be instrumental in fostering positive behavioral outcomes and supporting individual student growth in dynamic environment.
Open Positions:
- Two full-year Behavior Specialist positions (2.0 FTE), engaging diverse learners with behavior support needs.
- One short-term Behavior Specialist (1.0 FTE) to provide coverage for a leave of absence (approximate duration 4-6 weeks, likely through 10/14).
- One short-term Behavior Specialist (1.0 FTE), covering a leave anticipated through 9/30 with potential extension.
Ideal Background:
- Advanced degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a closely related field.
- Moderate experience within educational or behavioral intervention settings.
- Holds a valid MN special education teaching license, school social worker license, or school psychologist license (PELSB issued), or is Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or actively pursuing the credential.
- Experience as a licensed EBD/ASD Teacher with strong background as a Behavior Specialist or Interventionist, or as a licensed School Psychologist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with staff and families to implement effective behavioral supports.
- Provide direct and consultative services to enhance classroom environment and student engagement.
- Maintain detailed documentation and participate in IEP/504 planning as needed.
