This contract position places you at the heart of student support, providing assessments, evaluations, and critical Child Find services. You’ll work on-site, supporting up to two schools with caseloads designed to be manageable and fulfilling. Key Qualifications:

  • Active Missouri Department of Education certification as a School Psychologist
  • Recent experience working in schools, with a focus on psychological assessments and evaluations
  • Comfortable working with caseloads of 30-40 students
  • Flexible with age groups (elementary, high school, or K-12 depending on placement)
  • Ability to successfully complete drug screening and fingerprinting per state requirements

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to inform student support plans
  • Prepare accurate, timely reports and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
  • Focus efforts on Child Find activities to identify and support students with diverse educational needs
  • Engage with staff and families to communicate findings and recommendations
  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and district policies

What to Expect:

  • Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week, August 24, 2026, through May 28, 2027
  • Caseloads purposefully kept at an average level to prevent burnout and maintain quality of service
