This full-time contract opportunity requires an experienced professional passionate about guiding students, collaborating with educators, and delivering comprehensive psychological services across elementary, middle, and high school settings.
Key Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist license in Oregon (OR) is required
- Experience supporting diverse student populations, particularly in a K-12 school context
- Certified and comfortable working at elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations, assessments, and developing actionable recommendations
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, teachers, and families
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in client records and practice
Responsibilities:
- Perform psychological evaluations and assessments for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
- Analyze assessment data to inform individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed, supporting students’ educational success
- Consult with educators and families to develop and implement strategies and supports
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with educational staff
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with all legal and district policies
This is a full-time contract role, offering 37.5 hours per week, where you’ll be a valued resource throughout the school year. You will work closely with a supportive team in a vibrant school community near Salem, OR, engaging with students across a dynamic K-12 caseload.
