Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or Educational Psychology
  • Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience with psychoeducational assessments, behavior intervention plans, and counseling in a school setting
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and case management skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and behavioral interventions
  • Familiarity with current laws and regulations regarding student services and special education (IDEA, Section 504)
  • Comfortable working either onsite at schools or remotely via virtual platforms

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations to determine students’ educational and emotional needs
  • Develop and implement effective intervention strategies to promote student success
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to address students’ academic, social, and emotional concerns
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other related service providers
  • Consult on the development and review of IEPs, behavioral intervention plans, and 504 plans
  • Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with regulatory mandates
  • Support positive school climate and crisis intervention as needed
