Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working within a school setting, ideally at the elementary level
  • Familiarity with evaluation procedures for students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to manage time and caseloads efficiently, with support available
  • Experience participating in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings is preferred

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and help interpret results
  • Attend ARD meetings to contribute professional insight (facilitation not required)
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success and well-being
  • Manage and monitor an elementary caseload, ensuring timely and effective service delivery
  • Provide occasional direct counseling services, if needed, depending on student needs
  • Utilize the district’s Active Case Load Management system to track progress and receive support, ensuring manageable workloads
