Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist in Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Prior experience within elementary school settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of evaluation processes and ARD (Admission, Review, Dismissal) meeting participation
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage a primarily elementary caseload, focusing on evaluations and ARD attendance
  • Facilitate comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and prepare related documentation
  • Serve as an active participant in ARD meetings (facilitation not required)
  • Case management supported by district’s active system to ensure manageable workloads
  • Minimal counseling duties (may occur as needed)
