School Psychologist in San Francisco, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in School Psychology
• Previous experience with K–12 students preferred
• Strong knowledge of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and IEP process
• Excellent assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
• Collaborative approach with excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support
• Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure supportive learning environments
• Contribute to district-wide mental health initiatives and student intervention programs
• Monitor and document student progress, maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines
