Essential qualifications and experience:

  • Current California PPS Credential in School Psychology
  • Strong knowledge of special education regulations and best practices
  • Expertise in conducting psychoeducational assessments and creating individualized support plans
  • Experience providing counseling, consultation, and intervention services in a school setting
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
  • Adaptability, problem-solving abilities, and cultural competence

Role responsibilities:

  • Administer assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs, and interpret results for IEP teams
  • Provide direct, evidence-based support and interventions to students
  • Participate actively in multi-disciplinary team meetings and collaborate with staff and families
  • Advise on effective instructional and behavioral strategies
  • Support crisis intervention and prevention strategies
  • Contribute to positive school climate and social-emotional learning initiatives
