School Psychologist | San Jose, California

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
• Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Passion for advocating for student growth and well-being

Key responsibilities:

• Assess students’ cognitive, academic, and social-emotional functioning
• Interpret assessment data and provide recommendations for educational interventions
• Contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of IEPs
• Offer counseling and crisis intervention for students as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive strategies
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to ensure students’ success
• Maintain clear and confidential records in accordance with regulatory standards
