School Psychologist | San Juan Capistrano, California

Make a meaningful impact as a bilingual school psychologist supporting diverse students across the San Juan Capistrano area. In this part-time, contract role, you'll provide essential psychological services to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The position is itinerant, involving travel to multiple schools, and focuses on conducting bilingual assessments with a varied caseload covering different age groups.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in School Psychology
• Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English preferred) to facilitate clear and effective assessments
• Experience conducting assessments for a diverse student population
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive bilingual assessments as part of the special education evaluation process
• Prepare and interpret psychoeducational reports in clear, accessible language
• Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student learning and wellbeing
• Recommend interventions or supports based on assessment results
• Attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering professional insights and recommendations
• Travel between assigned schools in the San Juan Capistrano area as needed

This contract opportunity offers a flexible schedule of 2-3 days per week, starting as soon as possible and running through June 3, 2027. Work on-site in a rewarding environment, making a difference for students and families in need of culturally responsive psychological services.
